Hurrican Katrina Timeline: I wrote this essay in 2005 shortly after Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans and parts of the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. It’s a pretty harsh assessment of the Bush administration’s (lack of) response. I know it’s old news but I want to keep a record of what really happened.
